OLEDB Driver problem
I have stumbled over a curious problem when I try to read series via OLEDB driver. Most of the time it works out without any problems, but in at least one case it just won’t work if I try to include dates. I use the same OLEDBconnection string (cs) and I use the same string to retrieve the series (cmd). The wf i try to read from contains 3 pages; the first contains monthly data, the second quarterly, and the third annual. When I use the connection to retrieve quarterly data I face no problems, no matter if I include the @date in the cmd-string or not, but when I try to read annual data, I receive an error message when I try to include @date ”Reading ’OBSID failed. Object ’OBSID’ does not exist”. My guess would be that it is the particular wf page structure that causes this error (I have no problem retrieving annual data with dates included from other wf:s) . Correct? How can this problem be resolved? Should I modify the wf or is it possible to solve this in the vba-script?
