strange number on the SSR?
Hello there. Thats my first post here. I am struggling to do my dissertation and i have a problem, I got the followin estimation output, with a strange number at the sum squared resid. (1.71e+08). Can you help me interpret this number?I mean is it right to have that kind of number in the estimation output in general, or not?

Why not? About the only requirement on the SSR is that it be nonnegative.Hello there. Thats my first post here. Re: strange number on the SSR?
Sorry. "e" in this context means "ten to the power." So 1.71e+08 means 1.71*(10^8). The plus after the "e" just indicates that it's a positive power.Thank you for your answer!
