Hi!
My Excel file is irregular time sereis, but mostly on weekly basis. When I open it in Eviews and set workfile structure type as dated, -specified by date series - I got Eviews dates shifted by 4 days back (i.e. it was 15/03/2002 in Excel and became 11/03/2002 in Eviews). Why? How to avoid this?
thanks,
Olga

Re: Excel import - dates problem
The dates in your Excel sheet appear to be Fridays. EViews 6 identifies weekly data using the Monday of the week in question. Hence the shift by 4 days.
