Switch Regression Model Problem

Hi,

I'm trying to estimate a Markov model of financial returns but the estimate fails with message " WARNING: Singular covariance - coefficients are not unique ". Other times the software gets to crash.

Please Help me!

I tried to update the software but gives me an error message saying that the directory does not contain a copy of Eviews, why?
