crash by function name

Postby nupogodi » Sat Jul 11, 2015 2:56 am

1. Eviews 9 1-July build crashes when using a function that does not exist @t(m1)

matrix m1=@mnrnd(3,2)
matrix m2 = @t(m1)

2. Another bug that has been introduced
- open a series by double clicking on workfile
- choose "Year % change" from combobox
- choose View->Graph->LineSymbol from menu
- choose "Default" from combobox at the top of form
... and the program crashes

Please send workfile to support@eviews.com for #2. We are unable to reproduce this one.

The second bug seems to happen occasionally in case of monthly workfile - just play around with "Year % change" and "Default" combobox values

The first bug has been found and fixed, and the fix will appear in the next patch. Sorry about the inconvenience.

For #2, select options->general options.

From the left pane, select File Locations.

In the right pane, press the folder button for Ini File Path - Location....

In the folder there should be a file called graph70.ini.

Please send that file to support@eviews.com and reference this thread

The problem could be with my mouse driver that randomly initiates double clicks instead of a single click. When I press at the combo box in eviews 9 (32 bit) the program frequently crashes but not in eviews 8.
