Pooled and Random effect 2SLS: the same results

Postby kris_bulochka » Wed Apr 08, 2015 7:17 am

Good evening!

I am trying to evaluate equation by different methods (OLS, 2SLS etc) and pooled and randon effect regressions evaluated by TSLS give me the same results (all the coefficients). Is it normal? Will be grateful for reply :)

P.S. Sorry for my English

If you look at the output, you'll notice that the cross-section component of the random effects is effectively zero, which would mean that the other coefficient results will be the same with or without those effects.
