Hi all,
I am working on EViews 7 with cross-section data and I am trying to regress Oit - Ot = c + ð(PREKit - PREKt) where Oit represents the kindergarten grades of children and PREK is a dummy indicating whether or not a child went to preschool. Ot and PREKt represent the mean grade and preschool attendance by class. As a proxy for class, I use teacher's ID numbers, assuming each teacher teaches a different class and sticks to it the entire year. I have found the way to create a series with the mean grade per class, but now I have no clue how to regress the score for each child on the mean score in his class to generate Oit - Ot = c + ð(PREKit - PREKt)
Help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance
