Merging single graphs in a multiple graph

Postby lyxandros » Tue Oct 08, 2013 2:01 am

I am very new in EViews but I need help in something that I believe it is relevant easy.
I have 100 series and i want a multiple graph in which appears 50 graphs. I want series01 and series02 together in a graph, series03 and series04 in another etc...
So I need this "by 2" combination of graphs appear all together in a multiple graph.

Is there an easy and fast way for this?

I use Eviews 5

Thank you in adavance.

No idea if this existed in EViews 5, but in the latest versions, you can just put the series into a group, click on Graph, change the type to Scatter, then change the "Multiple series" option to "Multiple graphs - xy pairs".

These are two time series (1&2). no x and y variables.

I assume you're saying you want a line graph with two lines, rather than a scatter plot. The only way to do that is in an EViews program.
