Renaming cross-sections in the id01 variable

I have a panel file and I'd like to rename some of my cross-sections, as listed in the id01 variable. Eviews tells me that I cannot edit those cells. Is there a workaround without having to unstructure and restructure my workfile?

The only way is to unstructure, restructure.

Or, you could create a new alpha series equal to id01, change the ones you want to change, then restructure to use the new alpha series.
