Hi
I have just received E-view 8, with a computer with 32-bit windows. I have two problems with exporting data
i) Apparently the window with option color/no colour does not work, while it worked fine in Eviews7. I have been able to get colour or grayscale graphs by changing the options in the grpah display, but this is not very practical.
ii) when I try to export series into excel (office 2010), it loses the dots - so that 2.231 is read as 2231. FUnnily, this does not happen if the figure starts with a 0 - i.e. Excel reads correctly 0.93. I had some trouble also with E-views 7, but I thought E-views 8 to be fully compatible with Excel2010
Any help will be appreciated
Best
Giovanni

Re: exporting data
Please elaborate on how you are performing each action
1) I presume you opening a graph and then saving that graph. If so, to what file format are you saving?
2) What is the command you are using or how are saving the data? Are you saving the entire workfile to a xls or xlsx file? Are you using the Excel add-in?

Re: exporting data

Thank you
I would appreciate your help.
