Logit Model - Urgent Help required!

Postby Adeola » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:25 am

Please Help!

I am trying to run a logit model to analyse order aggressiveness. I am using a time series and when I try to estimate the logit method it gives the error

"DEPENDENT VARIABLE HAS NO VARIANCE".

My dependent variable which is the order aggressiveness is between numbers 1 and 6. I have checked my series and the numbers that appear under order aggressiveness is 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. All other independent variables also appear fine.

What can I do to fix the problem?

When I run a simple OLS, all variables work fine.

I do look forward to your response

Logit requires the dependent variable to be 0/1.
