Linking Excel with Eviews

Postby bfiaux » Wed Oct 24, 2012 12:12 pm

Which do you think would be the best to way to link a series from excel to Eviews, apply the x-12 arima procedure, and link the output to excel back?

Thanks

I think you'll need to give a little more detail on what you're trying to achieve.

Basically I have a series , non seasonally adjusted, in a excel spreadsheet which is updated automatically. I would like to link this column to one eviews's series archive. Afterwards, i need to run the seasonal adjustment program and link the output data back to a column in excel.

Sounds like your best bet is to use COM to do it.
