Im a newbie in Eviews, Someone please help me to solve this problem:

1. The variable value is showing "27.73E+10" and not like the regular values as 27,321,293,469 - Why is that so ? and is there any way to correct this ?

2. How to convert my variables into log ?

Standard computer notation for 227.73 times 10 to the 10th. (E means powers of 10). All that's happening is space is being saved in the display of the number.

2. How to convert my variables into log ?.

Open the Help menu in EViews and enter log or logarithm

You know i suck in maths, and this will make you aware when you read my next question :

The original value is : 27,321,293,469 - Eviews software takes as 27.73E+10 and You made it as 277,300,000,000

my value of 27,321,293,469 and yours 277,300,000,000 is way different though. Sorry if being stupid here.

Two possibilities here. You're misreading something on the screen and/or you're in a country which uses "," as a decimal point and "," as a thousands separator. (In the U.S., it's the other way around.)

There's no way EViews equated "27,321,293,469" and "27.73E+10"
