Manipulation of Data

Dear all,
I have data in excel format for several years and I want to convert it into Panel Data format in Eviews. The excel file is attached with this thread. There are two sheets in this excel file, raw data and required format. I need the "raw data" in "required format" sheet style in Eviews, with series as GDP, GDPPC, Area, etc and all the countries particular data listed inside these individual series.

Also, I will be thankful if someone could suggest a practical book on Econometrics. I have read Introductory Econometrics by Wooldridge and another by Baltagi, but both are very conceptual, not practical. What I need is econometrics principles explained and its application in Eviews. I have also read another book (Using Econometrics: A practical guide) which I think is better than these two because of the fact that it is practical and with examples in Eviews, but not to a great detail. So, anyone of you know any book? I tried to find Eviews Illustrated in China but unfortunately couldn't find it here and the other Eviews books are in Chinese language. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking how to get data from the Raw Data sheet to the Required Format sheet within Excel? If so, this might not be the best place to ask - you might be better off asking in an Excel forum.

Thank you for your prompt replies. Actually I know how to manipulate this data in Excel but because it is very time consuming, I want to know how to manipulate it in Eviews. Here let me give you an example of how I want the data to be. I have attached two Eviews files, one is the original file (for conversion) when I open the excel file in Eviews by selecting Open > Foreign Data as workfile. As you can see it is all country names, and every country series has GDP, GDPPC, and so on. What I want is to convert this similar to file additional.wf1, which is my previous project. Here you can see that it is a panel data with series of GDP, GDPPC, etc. and every series has cross section and time series data for all the sample countries.
