How do you enter more data into a workfile?

this is the most frustrating program ever made. how do you enter more data into a workfile?

what do you have to do to enter values in a series that extend beyond the original workfile range?

my users manual says to click PROC-> structure -> resize. there is nothing that says structure or resize in the PROC drop-down. what do i do to add more rows to this workfile??????

Yes, I'm pressing the Proc button on the workfile page. under proc it is:

generate by equation
generate by classification
resample
interpolate
seasonal adjustment
exponential smoothing
hodrick-prescott filter
frequency filter
make whitened
make distribution plot data

I need expand this series and add 4 more numbers.

THEN after adding the 4 numbers i need to compared the new data set and the old data set with those 4 values forecasted instead of having the actual ones. I need the MAPE and RMSE from this. Can you please tell me how to do this too?

To expand the range of the workfile you press the proc button on the workfile, as Glenn said. You have not clicked the Proc button on the workfile page. You need to press the proc button on the workfile page.

FYI, the proc menu that you were looking at was the Proc menu for a series, which meant that the series was the active window when you clicked on Proc (note: you are not expanding the series, you are expanding the workfile containing the series). To make the workfile window active, simply click somwhere in the white space of the workfile window. When you then click on Proc you'll see the entries you want.
