Missing values

Postby Mathias » Wed Mar 14, 2012 10:06 am

Hi,

I am Mathias student international business. I have a question concerning the editing of the data that I've collected.
I'm using the Eviews edtion 7 and I have a small question concerning the editing of the sample.

In my dataset (panel data), I only want to use positive observations (values), therefore I've indicated in my sample that for example: profitmargin>0 and laborproductivity > 0, ....

The question where I'm strugling with is the fact that my data also has observations, wherefore the data isn't available for (= missing values).

Do I have to filter my dataset also for these missing values, or are they automatically filtert out?

Thanks in advance!!

Mathias

If the missing values appear as NA, they are automatically filtered out.
