Hello everyone
I apologise if I've posted in the wrong section of the forum. I'm using the following data series from 1947 to 2010 for a cointegration analysis [Keynes' 'liquidity preference theory']. I got the following data series from St Louis Fed. But I need some helps:
1. Quaterly M1 money suppy [Series ID: M1SL]: I got it only from 1959 to current period. It would be great help if you can can kindly share any freely accessible data/link where I can get the series for 1947-2010.
2. Quaterly GDP [Series ID: GDP]
3. Quaterly 3-Month Treasury Bill: Secondary Market Rate [Series ID: TB3MS] Please advice if I should pick something else
4. Quaterly inflation rate: I need your help in locating series for the period 1947-2010 as well.
Also, I'd be grateful if you can kindly share any tips/advice to improve the anylsis in terms of data series and econometric method(s) as well.
Regards
B

Re: Requesting help on data
Update: I've sorted the issue with the inflation/CPI. So ignore the bit on the CPI. Please feel free to advise as you see fit.
