Hello.
I am experiencing a bug when installing one of the latest patches. I am offered to update my version, and when I accept it closes the Eviews I have running, and I eventually get the below window. However, I am unable to proceed from here.
I have no instance of Eviews running except this installation wizard, but it still registers as if I do. I have tried rebooting.

This is the message that is displayed when it can't update any of your existing files. You most likely have a permissions issue here.
I would recommend you download the latest patch and then right-click the patch EXE and select "Run as administrator" to ensure you give it enough permissions to run. Make sure EViews is not running when you do this. If you still encounter this issue, please talk to your IT department about running the patch with full admin rights.
