Hello
Whenever I attempt seasonally adjusting a series I get the following Error: Unable to execute X-13.EXE.
I cannot figure out why I get this error.
Any ideas?
Regards

Make sure your Temp File Path is pointing to a valid writable directory. To see this value, go to Options menu, General Options, File Locations.
Also, specifically for X11, X12, & X13, make sure that your working directory is not more than 4 folders deep (the X?? programs we use do not support a working path that has more than 4 folder names).
For example, a working path such as:
or
is ok, but:
is not.
Our default working folder is:
where <username> is replaced with your actual Windows username.

c:\Temp\Folder2\Folder3\Folder4\Folder5
Our default working folder is:

Thanks. My Temp File Path has 6 folder names. Can I assign a new directory for any folder, say, a desktop folder?
I am using EViews on macOS Catalina.
