Powerpoint link not working
Eviews 10 seems to have lost the ability to link charts in a PPT. I copy the chart, but when I try to past (using the "paste special" menu) it no longer gives me the option to link the way it did in Eviews 9. The chart is properly named in the workfile.

OK, new week, it works just fine. Will post if any further problems arise.

Nope. There's still no Paste Special copying into Powerpoint 2016.

Re: Powerpoint link not working
I took a quick look at EViews OLE in EViews 10 and it all seems in working order...
I did notice that Office context menus look different now for some reason. I don't see Paste Special in the right-click menu option anymore. I had to go to the Home ribbon tab / Clipboard group / and click on the Paste down arrow and then select Paste Special in my PowerPoint 2013.

Re: Powerpoint link not working
Dear Steve or Richard,
I'm having a funny issue with trying to paste link some graphs from EViews into PowerPoint. Trying to paste into the same PowerPoint file I find that it works for graphs in one workfile but not another. In the instances that it works the option to paste link is available to me. However, for the graphs in the other workfile that option is 'greyed out'. I'm using EViews 12 and Microsoft 365. Appreciate any help you can offer!
Kind regards,
Michael

Re: Powerpoint link not working
The graphs need to be named inside EViews, and stored in a workfile that is saved to disk.
