I use EVIEWS 11, 17 Sept 2019 build.
My suggestion follows up on this past thread:
http://forums.eviews.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1035&p=52129&hilit=axis+label#p52129
It seems that request for providing more degrees of freedom in labeling the data axes has so far not been accounted for in the current version of Eviews.
I'd therefore like to suggest that you implement the possibility to change the labeling of the data axes (left- and right-hand side).
An example code is provided below: while it is possible to adjust the gridlines so as to have gridlines at 10, 20, 30, etc, it is not possible to adjust the labeling of the left axis correspondingly to show labels for 10, 20, 30, etc.
Best, mamo
Code: Select all
wfcreate a 2000 2019
series x=@trend
freeze(overwrite, chart) x.line
show chart
' gridlines along 10, 20, 30, etc
chart.options gridl(9)
show chart
' One would also like hange the left axis labels aswell towards "10", "20", "30", etc.
' this sounds quite innocuous but this does not seem to be possible with Eviews 11. Will it be with Eviews99?
