EIA API

Hi, about 2-4 weeks ago (not sure exactly when), the EIA implemented changes to their API, and i have been unable to use in EViews. It is asking for an API key, which i have, but providing the key is not an option in EViews? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Any plans on the part of EViews to update this?

You can enter your EIA API key in EViews by:
- Open the EIA database from EViews
- On the database dialog click the button View->Preferences...

This will open the Preferences dialog where you can enter the key

That worked. Never thought of looking there. I was instead trying the edit option in the database registry. Thank you!!
