Model contains errors and could not be compiled.

Postby sj1960 » Sun Aug 22, 2021 11:48 am

I am running Eviews 12, and created a program that ran to the very end, but then said:

"The model contains errors and could not be compiled in
"GROWTH2HH_MOD.SOLVE(I=P)" on line 1182."

There were no indications of what the problems were. Is there some way to identify the problems in the model?
Thanks,
Stephen

Hello,

That error usually indicates a syntactic problem with the model specification, e.g., a syntax error in one of the model's equations. You should be able to locate the problem equation(s) by examining the model's equation view, where such errors will be highlighted in red.
