Hello,
I searched the forum and beyond, can't seem to find a matrix function in EViews to compute the orthogonal complement of a matrix A. The only thing I found is a post back in 2016 (link here: http://forums.eviews.com/viewtopic.php?t=14736). I'm not sure if the latest EViews (I have 12) has included a matrix function to derive the orthogonal complement.
Thanks for any information,
Jeff

Re: Orthogonal complement of a matrix
Hello,
EViews has added the @svdfull function in the time since that older post, which I believe completes the procedure contained therein.

Re: Orthogonal complement of a matrix
Thank you, Matt! I will take a close look at @svdfull function.
