Plot links at workfile frequency

Postby manthonisz » Mon Apr 05, 2021 6:15 pm

Good morning EViews Team & Users,

I'm trying to graph two series at a quarterly frequency. One series is on a quarterly basis and one is using data linked to another tab where this data is on a daily basis.

The following helpful Eviews page explains how the default setting is to plot data for the linked series on the frequency basis of the source sheet (i.e. daily).

http://www.eviews.com/help/helpintro.ht ... 23ww139555

Given this default I end up with a graph of a quarterly series against a daily series. Is there a command to plot the frequency converted data (i.e. daily converted to quarterly) such that I may have two quarterly series on the graph?

I couldn't find any command for this any of the EViews pages or on the forum.

Grateful for any help you can provide.

Kind regards,

Michael

Which command are you using to do the plot?

Hi Gareth

Thanks for your reply. I'm using something like this:

graph graph1.line series1 series2

Many thanks for your help!

Michael
