License Group Not Found

License Group Not Found

I installed EViews 7,after i double click the EViews 7 icon on desktop,it displayed:

Unable to obtain license from server *.*.*.*: LIcense Group Not Found.

I just set the license on my server, but don´t have any group yet.

What should i do?

Make sure you have added your license to your license manager. Start the EViews license management console. Under local server->licenses, you should find your license. If it is not listed the license has not been added. To add the license, press the right mouse button while over local server->licenses and select add license.

Assuming the license has been added and you have an unlimited cloneable lab license, a license group will not be created. The error therefore indicates the client machine has not been configured correctly as an unlimited lab license client. Uninstall and reinstall EViews using your 70Z... license .

If you have a concurrent use license, after adding the license to the license manager, you should find the EViews7 group under local server->license groups. Also verify the client machine is attempting to use the same group.
