X13 build (1.1, build 58).

Postby MatheusFF » Wed Nov 10, 2021 11:22 am

Hello everyone,

I need to update x13 to the lasted version (1.1, build 58). Is there an easy way to do this? I mean, I use x13 only through Eviews, and I have lots of programs using x13 and I am very afraid of messing up trying to make this update.

Any hint?

Thanks a lot!

You can replace the x13as.exe file in your EViews installation directory (c:\program files\EViewsXX usually).

No guarantees that the latest version will be compatible with EViews, but if you keep a backup of the old one, you can always go back if it doesn't work.

I tried to do this, but It didn't work. I now I can't go back to the previous version (I made the backup). Now it prints "unable to execute X13.exe"

Did you restore the old version of X13as.exe?

Don't have a strong suggestion then, other than re-installing EViews.
