Mac OS Catalina Eviews 11 won't open

Hi there,
I am having some issues when it comes to opening Eviews Univ. edition in my MAC (OS Catalina 15.4)... I got my license a few weeks ago and it all seemed to work fine until the app failed to open 5 times. After several attempts and half an hour of trying to figure out things, the app ends up opening by itself. I have tried downloading and installing it again and changing preferences, but it still keeps doing the same...
However once the program opens, it runs properly and with no difficulties...
Need help!!!

I had the same issue
but it seems that the latest update is causing it
after I downgraded to the previous one the issue disappeared

I am similar issue it it would not open up on my Mac either.

I'm also having this exact same issue. Has anyone found a resolution? I have emailed support.

No Gareth I haven't, hence my post asking for others if they have found a fix for the issue...I managed to find posts elsewhere that allowed me to force open the app. Thanks for the help Gareth.
