Hi! I am suddenly told by Eviews that "Class is not registered" when trying to open a Macrobond database (see mb1.png). The error arose suddenly, but might have arisen as a result of a Macrobond software update.
I have tried removing and adding the Macrobond database in the database registry. I have rebooted the computer. I furthermore lack administrator so cannot easily run regcomponents (nor update Eviews). I see no Macrobond references in the regcomponents window, though I am not sure I am supposed to.
I am running Eviews 10 Enterprise Aug22 2017 build.
Please advice.

Re: COM library error: Class not registered (Macrobond problem!)
Problem solved.
Somehow an enterprise-wide software update had pushed a 32bit Macrobond installation, which caused the 64bit Eviews and the 32bit Macrobond to not see each other.
Beyond reinstalling Macrobond, Macrobond's suggestion to unregister and re-register the Addin may also have helped: https://help.macrobond.com/technical-in ... ws-add-in/.
