Eviews has incorrectly identified a variable as an alpha variable and therefore will not include it in the regression. How do I change it to a numeric variable. the data is just a simple list of exchange rates, and is fully numeric. Thanks

I am trying to run a time series regression. I have 26 counties, and data for 5 years on 7 variables. I'm unsure as to how to set out the data in microsoft excel in order for it to work in eviews. help?
