I also went on to run SUR. I got the same error as well and sometimes I got a different error message which says "Near Singular Maxtrix".
I am a little puzzled as to what exactly is the true error behind this.
Appreciate any help you can give me.

Hi, I am rather new at eviews and do apologise if my question seems too trivial. I am trying to run an OLS however for some reason I keep getting this error. "No valid observations in equation". Could someone tell me what could possibly be the reason why the system is coming up with this? ...
