If you buy a site licence (for example a seat licence) you will not be able to move it to another machine after the initial warranty period unless you buy the extended warranty/maintenance agreement. One of the machines that we had Eviews (seat licence) installed on has died. Clearly we would like to transfer this licence to another machine.
