To answer my own question, you find it inside the View menu where you created the scatter plot, on the right hand side: View->Graph->Basic graph-> Scatter and, on the right hand side, Fit lines->Regression line.

I am a new user workign my way through EViews Illustrated Chapter 1. From a brand new Eviews user: I am reading Chapter 1 of the guidelines (A Quick Walk-through), where it tells you on page 3 to go and download a file called “nysevolume.wf1”.
