Re: Eviews 7 multicore efficiency on AMD
Sure. It might be impossible to parallelise sequential estimation, where elements at step (t) depend on elements estimated at step (t-1). Roughly, the elements at step(t) is sent to core 1, thus, core 2 have to wait for the arrival of step(t) results, in order to start the estimation at step(t+1). S...

Re: Eviews 7 multicore efficiency on AMD
Yes! Total load achived. For this structure: ------------------------- create u 1000000 group xs series y=nrnd for !i=1 to 400 series X!i=nrnd xs.add x!i equation e1.ls y c xs next ------------------------- Equations load: Ls - 30-40%, VAR - 70-80% . Adding MA(1) to LS - variable 25-30% total proces...

Eviews 7 multicore efficiency on AMD
Hello.
Just bought Eviews 7.
Could you please tell to me is it any possibility to receive multicore efficiency on AMD (Phenom2 X4 955).
1 core load only (25% load overal). Any possibility how to increase total number of loaded cores and make 100% load?
Thank you.

Matlab 'eval' function in Eviews
It will be great if it is possible to include Matlab2008 function 'eval'. That execute the comand written in string: the following z=1 eval(['ds' num2str(z) '= rp']); will execute the following: ds1=rp I understand that it is partly organised in indexing like: ds{!z}=!rp , but for the purposes of au...

Re: Cross-Correlation
so, If I understand you correctly, column Y,Z(+i) refers to Y leads Z assumption. And the highest correlation at the first lead is confirmation of causality at lag 1 from Y to Z. Is it correct? Thank you. Your regression adding makes it clear. But I think, headings in cross-correlation output is not...

Re: Cross-Correlation
Sorry, have the same question, and it is still not clear. Let's say it in this way: Grouping Y and Z, then, open cross-correlation at 5 lag. Lets say we have the following result: Date: 14/09/09 Time: 14:40 Sample: 2/01/1996 31/12/2007 Included observations: 3130 Correlations are asymptotically cons...

Option for all graphs problem.
Hello. Using Eviews 6. I have a problem with applying option for all graph. 121 series were organised in to group, data structure - percentages, sample - 8 observations. Then, whole group allocated to the graph through: GROUP \ VIEW \ GRAPH \ TYPE -------- Specific: BAR Multiple series: Multiple Gra...
