format graph axis as date
I have a data value column (e.g. oxygen) and a date column. The date column is NOT used as the observation identifier in this particular worksheet because there are duplicates in the dates. I can graph my data vs. date using an xy graph, but the date axis is not formatted as a date and I can't figur...

Re: week numbering
Thanks, Chris. I guess my next suggestion would be to document those undocumented features. And, yeah, the ISO year would really be needed in order to use the ISO week effectively. If that capability could be fully developed and documented with a future update, I'm sure there are people who w...

week numbering
It would be helpful if EViews would implement at least one of the standard week numbering systems (US or ISO 8601) instead of just starting at Jan 1 and every 7 days thereafter. Put ODBC database in registry and link to series?
I think these may be related problems, but maybe not. 1) Can a SQL server database that is accessed through Open Foreign Data As Workfile (ODBC) be put into the EViews database registry for faster/easier access? 2) Is there any way to link a series (or group) created through an ODBC query (see 1) to...

MS Query
Thanks, Steve, for explaining what was supposed to happen with the Build Query button. (Someone should add that to the EViews help.) I've confirmed that: MS Query is installed. The registry entry is pointing to the right place. It loads from within Word and Excel. However, it still doesn't work from...

more on query, please
Hi Steve, I have a SQL Server database that resides on another machine in our department (so, not the one EViews is installed on), and I'm trying to learn how to use Eviews to query this database and analyze the data. I can connect to it, but I do not want to just import whole tables. I need to use ...
