Panel data analysis

Hi When I run panel analysis under eviews 7 under Fixed period effect, and I chose for Period SUR for GLS weight and Covariance method, I got the message of "Selected robust covariance method not allowed for cross-section SUR estimation" However, it was working well in eviews 6 before, Can...

Analysis of residuals

Hi,

How can I plot studentized residuals against standardized predicted value for panel data using eviews 6?

How can I do normal probability plot for panel data, that is expected cumulative probability against observed cumulative probability using eviews 6?

Thanks

heteroscedasticity white and newey-west

hi, When I look at the help guide, in order to correct for heteroscedasiticy, hit quick, estimate equation, option, the option window should display the space to hit heterocedasticity coeficient covariance for white or newey-west. I am using eviews 6 now. However when I try to estimate equation, the...

panel data

Hi,

If I have panel data where cross section is identified by fdummy and year is identified by ydummy, for 207 firms and 4 years, how do I regress annual cross section? I want to get the coefficients of correlations annually.

Thanks.

principal component analysis

Hi,

Having got the loadings results, how do I rotate the principal component factors? Am I able to calculate communalities for each variable?

Thanks

Re: normal scores transformation

It is not really z scores, the transformation involves ranking the observations, then the ranks are being substituted by scores on the normal distribution. The scores are from the normal distribution by dividing the distribution into the number of observations plus one regions on the basis that each...
