When I copy in the workfile with monthly frequency, and paste special in the workfile with quarterly frequency, it tries to paste in the monthly workfile. I get the attached message.

I am a new EViews user. I am using monthly data, and created a new Workfile with a quarterly frequency. I have copied the monthly series, and then used "paste special" to paste in the quarterly workfile. However, the data always tries to rewrite in monthly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wron...
