FMOLS Equation objects
For a COINTREG FM-OLS or CCR object or command, it would be very useful if the procedure created output matrices for the estimates of Omega-hat, Lambda-hat, and (for CCR) sigma-hat. I would find this useful for two reasons: (1) for FM-OLS this output can be used as a basis for constructing the singl...

CointReg request for programs
I am finding that my long-run and error-correction forecasting models are much improved by using FM-OLS estimates of the static long-run. A programing version of the interactive COINTREG command that would produce some sort of vector output (estimated level coefficients at a minimum) would be very u...

Automatic Lag Selection in COINTREG
I apologize in advance, this is a long question. I have been checking whether I can reproduce by hand the results for Eviews command Cointreg for DOLS estimation. For manual lead-lag structure I can do so. But I could use some hints about how Eviews uses the AIC or SIC to automatically select the dy...

Usable, usable but painfully slow, or clearly impractical?
My workfiles are generally well under 0.5MB, and I would not be trying to run long programs.

Re: Latest update crashing win XP?
I found the problem was reproducible only with a particular workfile. As a workaround, I went back to an earlier version and re-ran programs. So my guess is that the file was corrupted in some way. I did discover I had some spyware that needed removal. I still have the problem workfile (if you are i...

Latest update crashing win XP?
Since installing the latest update of Eviews, it is crashing (Eviews, not the operating system) on both my home and office machine. Both machines run winxp (service pack 3). On the home machine it is very consistent, crashes when I click to close a ls equation result window. Not at the office right ...
