Save series as a .json file
Hello, how can I save a series from a workfile in the .json format individually instead of the whole workfile please? Thanks a lot, Günter

Database DBREFRESH
Hello, wouldn't it make sense to have a DBREFRESH command for a database similar to the WFREFRESH command for a workfile for a linked series? Thanks, Günter

Calculating returns for different samples
Hello, I would like to calculate the returns for the series in the attached workfile for different sample periods. Is that possible by chance? Once that is done I would like to have them all in one table. I have these samples in mind but would like to be able to add more: ' Study Samples smpl 01/09/...

Re: Table for data releases
Hi Gareth, The raw data is in the workfile. So for the first row for example the data is cpi_chng series US CPI Urban Consumers MoM SA for "Actual" cpi_chng_bn_survey_median series US CPI Urban Consumers MoM SA for "Surv(M)" cpi_chng series LAG minus 1 US CPI Urban Consumers MoM ...

Table for data releases
Hello,
Hope all well.
Is it in theory possible to replicate the attached screenshot of a Bloomberg data release in Eviews as a table? I have also attached the .prg and .wf for the underlying data.
Would be great if you could point me in the right direction.
Thanks a lot.
Best wishes,
Günter

Re: Sample command
Hi Gareth,
Forgot the attachments, sorry.
The NAs concern the group "g_g10_pch" in the attached workfile.
For 16/03/2021 there are NA so I would like to move the sample to the previous day if possible via a command.
Thanks a lot.
Best,
Günter

Sample command
Hello, How would I define a sample command which uses the last possible observations only if there is not an NA, please? In the screenshot attached I would like to define the sample as: smpl 15/03/2021 15/03/2021 (as all the values are available) and then tomorrow smpl 16/03/2021 16/03/2021 Thanks a...

Roll command
Hello, Hope all well. Is there documentation for the roll commands by chance? I realized that the command capture is not working for this routine. I have attached a picture with the popup which appears with the options if I run the command. Ideally, I would like to automate this in a program. I also...

Re: Ranked Bar Chart
Hi Gareth, Thanks a lot for this. How would I go about the labelling in the attached example, please? Ideally, I would like to name the series as follows: D_USGGBE10INV = US 10YR BE (Inv.) D_UXA = Vix Future D_XAUUSDV3M = Gold Vol D_XAGUSDV3M = Silver Vol d_fxvol = G10 FX Vol (PC1) The group list wo...

Re: Ranked Bar Chart
Hi Gareth, Thanks a lot for that. Almost there I believe but the values don't correspond to the new labelled series if you compare the group "g_g10_pch" and the "market_movers" chart in the attached workfile I am afraid. I have to admit that I am not a programming expert as you h...

And how would you go about a date and time stamp in such a chart like the one below, please? Thanks a lot, Günter for %text = "Source: Bloomberg ("+@strnow("DD-Mon-YY") %text1 = "," + @time %text1a = "CET)," %text2 = " http://www.fxproject.ch, @GFXFTS .&q...

Re: Ranked Bar Chart
Hello, Hope all well. I have got a problem with displaying the series name in the chart I have created below. The bar chart doesn't display the correct name of the series, e.g. "USDCAD (D/D %)" . Do you know by chance where I make a mistake? Thanks a lot. Best, Günter ' Transformations for...
