Crashing or not responding

I'm having issues with EViews not responding and/or crashing. This can be triggered by: - Running a regression with a dependent variable that doesn't exist in the workfile (by accident). - Using the fetch function to pull data from databases. - Clicking "save" for certain workfiles. Any su...

Centering objects in a spool printed to PDF

Hello, is there a way to center objects in a spool that is printed to PDF using the following notation?:
{spool}.save(t=pdf,landscape)

I see that you can adjust the margins, but this does not center all objects if you have objects of varying size in the spool. Thanks.

Extracting sample and observations from equation

Hello, I'd like to extract the sample length and number of observations from a series of equations to put into an Eviews table when running a loop through multiple equations. I've discovered that the command "[equation].@smpl" does not reference the actual sample used in estimating the equ...

Restricting AR coefficients

Is it possible to put a restriction on an AR coefficient? For example, I'd like to restrict the coefficient on an AR(1) term in my model such that it does not exceed 0.90. Thanks.
