So, I installed the patch, but I am still told there is an update available. When I say yes to install, I get a message that a signature file cannot be confirmed. I will check again to see if I am properly registered.

I am a faculty member intending to use eviews8 for students in a course this fall. Have personally used earlier versions of eviews. The add-in if activated causes excel 2010/2013 to crash on exit. I have deactivated, and I have turned off registration of components so that it will not be registered....
