Cointegration test
Hello, everyone! I'm sorry to bother you (and even more so if this isn't the appropriate forum section for my silly questions), but would you help me, please? I've been asked to model Brazil's investment as a proportion of GDP through time and estimate the parameters by GMM. The eleven variables are...

Re: How to link excel data
Oh, OK. So I take it that is not possible on EViews 8?

How to link excel data
Hello,
I am working with excel and eviews with several databases and it would be really good if there was a way to make the data linkes, so if I update the excel file, the eviews file would be automatticaly updated.
Is there any way to do this?
Thank you!

How to define scenarios for a model
Good afternoon, I am having trouble defining scenarios for o model I put together to solve four equations. I have read in many places that in order to create a "Scenario x", you just have to add the suffix "_x" after the variable name. So what I did with my exogenous variables wa...

Variable interaction in VAR
Good afternoon, I'm estimating a VAR model and am wondering if there is any way to add a variable that interact with another variable. That is, given the variable vector below: y=(Raw materials, Credibility, 12m GDP, Output gap, Persistency, ER variation, ER volatility, Inflation)’ What I am estimat...

Re: Choosing the best GMM model
If you have different models that all explain apples, then there are some standard methods of comparison. You pointed out R^2, for example. If the explained variables are different, there is no standard method. Now what if I wanted to use 4 different explanatory variables to explain 1 response vari...

Re: Choosing the best GMM model
Good afternoon, everyone! I've run 4 similar GMM models, in which the only difference was the response variable. For instance, in the first one, the response variable was the Real Exchange Rate. On another one, it was the Real Effective Exchange Rate. Anyway, regardless of what the response variabl...

Re: Forecasting with GMM
I can't. The file is too heavy. What I'm estimating through a new system is: dlog(ipca_livres) = cp(10)*log(1+expected_inflation) + cp(21)*dlog(ipca(-1)) + cp(30)*d(lcrb) + (1-cp(10)-cp(21)-cp(30))*d(lcrb(-1)) + cp(40)*lhiato + cp(50)*d(loil_oil_hp) + cp(61)*(lipa_ipca(-1)-lipa_ipca_hp(-1)) + cp(71)...

Forecasting with GMM
Good afternoon! I have used GMM to estimate a Phillips Curve in Eviews 8. When I try to forecast though, I get only one observation (the last one from my sample)! I have data up until 2014Q1, so that´s up until when I get the "forecasts". What can I do to get real forecasts beyond 2014Q1??...

Export graphs to Excel
Good afternoon.
I wanted to export a graph to Excel, not as a image though. I wanted to be able to change its format, like colors and what's not.
Is that possible?
Thanks!
