How to set up quarterly data for financial year which begins from q3 and ends in q2 the following calendar year? So, 2009/10 financial year is 2009q3, 2009q4, 2010q1 and 2010q2.
Then only I can generate financial year annual growth rates. Otherwise I have to transfer to Excel.
Thanks.

Extending a series
Hi
I want to extend a quarterly data series called Y which is currently from 1985q3 to 2009q2, by 2 observations: 2009q3 and 2009q4; on its average growth rate (dlog) of the last 3 periods.
Cheers, Riaz

Re: Peak-to-Peak Interpolation
Unfortunately, I do not know how to define it. The idea was taken from the Fair Model EViews Version. http://fairmodel.econ.yale.edu/eviews/eviews.htm Workfile: FM.wfl The variables of interest are: (1) CDA = peak to peak interpolation of CD/POP and (2) HFS = peak to peak interpolation of HF If you ...
