How to upload high frequency data in to eviews from excel?


Step 1:
Open the excel file > combine the date and time column giving the following command
=INT(A1)+MOD(B1,1) where A1 is the date and B1 is the time.

Step 2:

Upload the excel file into eviews by right click on the excel file and open with eviews.
Eviews will automatically consider your file is undated/unstructured

Step 3:

Open the date series in eveiws
Go to properties which is the fourth column from the left, properties box will appear.
Change the date formate in to "Date-Time"
Date formate in to "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MI"
Click ok

Step 4:

Come to Command line of the Eviews and give the following Command
pagestruct @date(date)
Press enter
Press Ok
