Multivariate Regression without constant?

Postby Joe94 » Sun Jun 28, 2020 2:45 pm

Hello,

I am using the EViews Students Light Version 11 sv x64.

I am trying to run a Multivariate Regression with dummy variables. As I want to include each specification as a dummy variable, I have to make a regression without the constant due to collinearity.

I am used to run regressions with the following code, but I do not know, how to remove the constant out of the regression. Can anyone help me?

>> equation ekbldreg.ls einkommen c dmann dreal dfach dgym

As I am using this equation, the constant is always created automatically.

(it's not important what the specifications are about, as my question is just about the software solution of running a multivariate regression without creating the constant.)

Non-normality and collinearity are NOT problems!

Leave off the "c"
