@expand in systems

Hello,

The @expand command does not seem to work in the command

Code: Select all

sys.append

an example for a panel of countries:

translog_system.append log(share_oil/(share_coal))= @expand(iso3c) + c(2)*log(p_oil/p_coal)  + c(3)*log(p_gas/p_coal)+c(4)*log(p_electricity/p_coal)

returns this:

@EXPAND is not a Genr or series expression function

Any idea why?

@expand cannot be used in expressions (so cannot be used in systems).
