Hi,
I am using eviews 9.5.
I am trying to convert quarterly gdp into monthly (using constant match average).
I have successfully loaded quarterly data into a page, then added a new page on monthly frequency.
However when trying to copy a series, then paste special, the paste special menu for setting the frequency conversion is not the usual one.
The correct one, per the instruction manual looks like this
Why are the correct settings not showing and how do I fix this?
Thanks for your help!

It looks like EViews doesn't believe the destination page is monthly.

thanks for the quick reply Gareth.
I have just copied the right screenshot - the new page was reset to monthly and the problem remains......any suggestions?

Then perhaps it doesn't believe the source is quarterly.

ahh! So the data (and date) were quarterly.
however I hadn't noticed the range+sample setting were not set explicitly to Q.
Simple enough when you know how, although I wouldn't have otherwise worked it out
thanks v much for your help, appreciated!
