Hi all,
Is there a way in EViews to say the fiscal year is September to August? When using our monthly air traffic data I would like to be able to copy that data to the quarterly part of my workfile (separate page) and have it automatically calculate the quarterly totals (which are sums of months) based on the fiscal year and not calendar year. The same would be for my annual page, with the annual year being based on the fiscal year and not calendar year. Any ideas? Can Eviews do a custom year?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Custom Fiscal Year
Thank you very much, but eviews will lag the year. Suppose I have:
The fiscal year sums are in the third column, identified at fiscal year 2001 and fiscal year 2002. When using your code Eviews will list annualy as:
Is there a way to get a proper dating? EViews is taking the first date of the range, so this would read Fiscal Year 2000 and 2001 and not 2001 and 2002. Perhaps I could create a fiscal year variable, which would read the observation date, pull out the year, and add one to it?
Thanks

Re: Custom Fiscal Year
Not clear what you're asking. For what purpose do you want "proper dating"?
