File that do not work on EViews 7 works in Eviews 8

Hi,

I would like to tell you about a problem I am coming across different time. It happens to me that I create a file with EViews 7 and suddenly it is not possible to open it any more.
Then when I ask one of my colleagues who have installed version 8 to open it works without any problem.

Could you please let me know what is possible to do in these cases ?
