Unable to open an existing workfile

Hi,
I've tried to open a workfile which I was using until yesterday, but I got an error message saying
"file does not meet .wf1 workfile specification".
Anyone got any idea ? Thanks for your help

This likely means that the workfile has become corrupt some how (disk error, or a problem in EViews). The best thing to do is to revert to the backup version of the workfile and see if that is ok. The backup file is located in the same folder as your workfile, but has a ~f1 extension. You can rename that so that it has a wf1 extension rather than a ~f1 extension, and then open it in EViews.
